Come May 2013, Madman Entertainment have plans to release a new edition of Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt on DVD – with the main (and possibly only feature) being new purple discreet packaging
The contents on the discs will be exactly the same in the purple edition. Just have a new plain packaging cover. There will be a reversible no ratings cover that you can switch to.

According to a post by the company on their Facebook page, this is in response to circumstances which saw some retailers not stocking the series. With the discreet packaging it is hoped that more stores will have it on their shelves for fans to pick up. So, if you have not been able to buy this from your local retailer yet or just happen to like the colour purple – keep an eye out for this release in May.
