She wore her hair half up in her notoriously sky-high poof as she took centerstage in the photo.
Her pregnant daughter and son-in-law Michael stood alongside her as well as her son Larry Jr., 31, with his girlfriend Leah.
All modeled their best holiday attire for the portrait as they smiled at the camera.
Victoria, 27, simply captioned the post: “Merry Christmas 🎄 🎁”
The TLC star was recently bashed by fans for her style choices after debuting a new hairstyle on social media.

Theresa took to Instagram to showcase a perfectly coiffed partial updo, with side bangs and longer pieces that fell in waves past her shoulders.
Theresa gave the camera a soft smile as she captioned her post: “Holiday Party ready!” before thanking her hair, makeup, and clothing stylist.
However, fans were not enthused as they raced to the comments section to slam her new look.
“Hair extensions and a rats nest on the top, time for a makeover,” one scathed, adding: “And caked-on way too heavy and too much make up.”
A second agreed: “And btw your hair looks ridiculous,” while a third advised: “Change your hairstyle to look younger you have a beautiful face.”
“She needs to dump the hair,” another slammed while a final laughed: “I can only imagine how much hairspray that took to hold!”
‘I STILL LIKE MY HAIR’
Theresa’s backlash followed her attempt to clap back at the haters for judging her hairstyle.
Previously, the TV star hopped on Instagram to share a video preview of the newest episode of her podcast Hey Spirit!
However, towards the end, the mother of two took the opportunity to clap back against haters.
After one fan left a kind comment about her hair, she replied: “Thank you so much, I do like my hair!
“Even though a lot of people comment they don’t like my hair, I still like my hair.”
The psychic star is known for wearing her platinum blonde hair in extreme fashions, giving her look a sky high lift.
Theresa then asked fans to comment what they’d think about a TikTok tutorial about how she gets her hair to stay so full of volume.
Although some begged the New York native to reveal her secrets, others still weren’t on board with the new-do.
One wrote: “Theresa, the bee hive needs to go along with the long hair. Wear your hair the way you used to.”
Another said: “That hair is too much!”
COLORFUL DRESS
Last month, fans slammed Theresa for trying to “upstage” Victoria at her baby shower.
After Theresa took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of herself with Victoria at the baby shower, some fans accused the TV personality of stealing the show with her bold outfit.
Victoria stunned in a long white lace dress, while Theresa opted for a colorful tight-fitting dress that gave the illusion it was decked out in graffiti.
Alongside the photo, the star wrote: “There are no words for the feeling of your baby having a baby. Shower day for this beautiful momma to be.”
Shortly after Theresa posted the sweet photo, some fans rushed to the comments section to call out the mother of two for taking attention away from her pregnant daughter.
One person wrote: “Kind of sad that your outfit upstaged your daughter on her day.”
Another called out her over the top look by adding: “She must still think it’s 1987 and uses ice mist hairspray hahaha.”
A third chimed in: “Some people just need to be center of attention at any cost. Sad.”

Even though it was a quick trip to a local baseball field, Gwen still pulled out all the stops in the fashion department. The “Don’t Speak” singer looked every inch the cover girl in a fabulous camouflage ensemble.
The baseball outing came a few days after Gwen showed up to Jimmy Kimmel Live without her wedding ring — but she quickly cleared up any misunderstandings about the move. “I forgot to wear my ring. You didn’t think you’d seen the last of Madonna‘s 64th birthday festivities, did you? On Wednesday, August 17, the Material Girl took to Instagram to share a very Alice In Wonderland themed party video. “Come to my surrealist party, where nothing is logical, often disturbing,” the “Vogue” songstress said, as she slayed in a “Mad Hatter” style top hat with a sexy veil and fishnet stockings. In true 80s style, she also rocked one fishnet sleeve on her left hand, and a bright red pout. “Your Muthaa,” she captioned the clip. More AboutMadonna

Fans caught a glimpse of the pop icon embracing eldest daughter Lourdes Leon, 25, and twins Stella and Estere, 9, dancing euphorically. David Banda, 16, and Mercy James, also 16, were there, as was son Rocco. The entire bash was a bacchanalian carnival straight out of a music video, with plenty of bling and what looked like nude modern dancers helping Madge ring in her banner 64th year.
Many of the Desperately Seeking Susan star’s 18.5 million followers were thrilled with the techno-beat-infused birthday video. “Happy birthday, Legend,” commented a fan. “Let everything be as you want.” “Don’t care what you say, she’s iconic,” wrote another follower. Per usual, many of the comments referred to her as royalty. “Wow, all hail the queen,” reacted a follower. “Amazing party Queen Madonna,” reacted yet another.
The famed singer has been celebrating her August 16 birthday in Italy with all six children, and recently threw a beautiful outdoor dinner for Rocco Ritchie‘s 22nd birthday on August 11. The Origins and History of the Garter Belt Wedding Tradition

Find out the history of the garter belt wedding tradition, and why new husbands throw their wives’ garters out to the crowd for good luck.

Most wedding traditions are kitschy but cute: something borrowed, something blue; tossing the bouquet; unveiling the bride. But what about the garter belt wedding tradition? If you’ve ever wondered why guests watch as the groom uses his teeth to remove a lacy band from his new wife’s upper thigh before tossing it—it’s actually a very symbolic practice.
Wedding etiquette is pretty straightforward for the most part, but the wedding garter tradition has quite the unique history. We’ve gotten to the bottom of its origins, its symbolism, its significance, and whether or not brides still wear garters.
What is the purpose of a garter belt at a wedding?
These days, removing the garter is essentially the male equivalent of the bride’s bouquet toss. After the ceremony, generally at the reception, the bride sits on a chair so her new husband can take her garter belt off her leg with his teeth and toss it to a crowd of bachelors.
Technically, the purpose of the garter belt was originally to hold up the bride’s stockings, though since the invention of elastic and pantyhose, they’re no longer necessary. Today, they’re more for the tradition than anything. They can go on either leg, but many brides choose to wear one on each leg—one to toss, and one to keep.
What does the garter belt symbolize?
Believe it or not, the garter belt symbolizes good luck to the bachelors in attendance. Supposedly, whoever is lucky enough to catch it will be the next to get married.
Of course, this is a tradition that’s more symbolic and fun than realistic. In practice, it’s a raunchy charade for a group of men to chase after the garter once it’s tossed by the groom.
Where did the garter belt tradition come from?
Though historians haven’t agreed whether it started in the 14th or 19th century, it was during a time when a honeymoon wasn’t exactly a private getaway. Immediately after rings were adorned on ring fingers and the lucky couple said “I do,” they’d rush away to consummate the marriage, and guests would follow them to the bedroom, ensuring there were witnesses to make sure they really sealed the deal.
Rowdy wedding guests would grab at the bride’s dress, or undergarments that went flying, hoping for a bit of good fortune. The garters holding up the bride’s stockings became to-go prizes for guests.
Over time, people realized the practice was a bit intrusive, and societal expectations shifted. Instead, the groom would toss the garter to guests waiting outside as a taste of what he and his wife were up to behind closed doors. Eventually, the tradition became part of the reception—no need for guests to hover outside the hotel room.
Do brides still wear garters?
Although for the most part they’re unnecessary, yes, many modern brides do still wear garters. Today, this is as much up to the couple as is which knee the groom proposes on and what happens when someone objects at the wedding. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to weddings, and many brides skip the tradition altogether.

Charlize Theron Sports Fishnet Stockings at Red-Carpet Premiere: Photo – SheKnows

Charlize Theron hit the red carpet on Tuesday for the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix’s School of Good and Evil — and she showed up in a wickedly delightful outfit. The style may look simple from one angle, but the skirt of the dress delivered a chic surprise.

At first glance, the top of blouse looks very buttoned up with the flower brooch adding a plash of color. If you take a closer look, it’s a sheer black top with her bra peeping through. The high-waisted skirt also delivers the drama with a thigh-high slit and fishnet stockings underneath. She accessorized the fierce look with black lace boots that hit just below her knees — Theron went all-out for this red-carpet moment.

The outfit paired perfectly with her dark locks pulled back away from her face and her bangs swept to the side. The 47-year-old actress kept her makeup natural and her jewelry rather simple — she looked absolutely stunning. Recently, Theron has been speaking up about wardrobe in the entertainment industry because early on in her career, a male director kept forcing her to do unnecessary fittings. “And it was just so obvious that it was to do with my sexuality and how f**kable they could make me in the movie,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “And when I started out, that was just kind of the norm.”

Theron decided to form her own production company so she could create a better environment for all actors on her sets. “Having absolutely no control over what you’re wearing is a big one that really f**king annoyed me for years,” she said. “Having some guy make you have a fitting almost in front of them — stuff like that, it’s really belittling.” She’s now free to make empowering wardrobe choices on the red carpet and beyond.

See Sophie Turner In Fishnet Stockings

Sophie Turned strutted the red carpet of the Academy Museum Gala rocking eye-catching floral fishnet stockings.

By Britta DeVore
| Published 4 hours ago

While we await more news on whether or not we can expect to see her pop up in Deadpool 3, Sophie Turner is wasting no time turning heads at the Academy Museum’s Gala. The Game of Thrones star recently shared some photos of her big night out on the rose surrounded carpet, which you can see above, decked out in fishnets and a Louis Vuitton look, while cozying up to her husband, Joe Jonas. As stunning as ever, the couple both donned their own runway looks with Sophie sticking to a brown jacket and black skirt combo, and Joe choosing a sleek black leather outfit with multiple adornments to pop.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ big night out was to celebrate the museum’s gala, which saw the attendance of a multitude of other well known celebrities. Awards were handed out, speeches were made, and those dedicated to the craft of motion pictures were honored at the Academy Museum’s annual event. Along with Turner and Jonas, famous faces including Eddie Redmayne, Jessica Chastain, Lee Byung Hun, Natasha Lyonne, and many others were in attendance.
While Sophie Turner wasn’t in the running for any honors this time around, the actress has had a great year of exciting new projects coming out for viewers to feast their eyes on. Earlier in 2021, she was involved in HBO’s dramatized version of the true-crime case, The Staircase. In it, a man is accused of murdering his wife who allegedly fell to her death via a staircase inside their home.
Sophie Turner in The StaircaseThe case became the target of a documentary that landed on Netflix several years ago and between several twists, turns, and complicated family dynamics, it was a no-brainer to turn it into a scripted series. Along with Sophie Turner, The Staircase boasted a recognizable call sheet that included Toni Collette, Colin Firth, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Parker Posey. This year would also see the actress make her way onto Netflix in a feature length production.
Do Revenge came out just last month and was a huge hit for the streaming platform. Sophie Turner held down a supporting role in the Jennifer Kaytin Robinson-helmed production that starred another incredible lineup including Riverdale‘s Camila Mendes, Stranger Things‘ Maya Hawke, and Euphoria‘s Austin Abrams. Pulling its story from Alfred Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train, the film followed two high school students who were carrying out each other’s revenge plots.
A departure from her previous roles in dramatic productions, her appearance in Do Revenge saw Sophie Turner as a preppy high school girl and the target of Camila Mendes’ character’s eye. Holding one of the most quotable scenes in the movie, Turner’s Erica insists she doesn’t use cocaine as she gets hauled away to a rehab facility. Although it was a smaller part than we’ve seen for Turner in the past, her role was an absolute scene stealer.

While it’s been almost four years since Game of Thrones went off the air, Sophie Turner is still proving to be the queen of every red carpet she struts down. With so many career opportunities on the horizon, we can’t wait to see what award she’ll be stepping up to accept next.

Kangana Ranaut Once Donned A Sheer Green Dress Exposing The S*xy Black Garter Underneath It

Kangana Ranaut Once Got Eyeballs Popping As She Showed Off A Little Too Much In A Sheer Green Dress With Garter ( Photo Credit – Instagram )Kangana Ranaut is one force to be reckoned with – be it on-screen or off-screen. The actress who made a powerful debut with the 2006 thriller Gangster has starred in several other acclaimed projects and is now a 4-times National Film Award winner. But did you know, Kangana – who normally is our pointing fingers at others, one showed a little too much?
Well, for a promotional event for her 2019 film Judgementall Hai Kya, Ms Ranaut opted for a sheer dress paired with a s*xy black garter. While there’s no denying she looked hot, diva-like and just drop-dead gorgeous in it, she ended up showing more than she bargained for – and fans asked for.
While promoting Judgementall Hai Kya, Kangana Ranaut opted for a flowy greenish-blue Ermanno Scervino dress that featured layers on the bodice but was pretty sheer waist down. While this alone can call for us to suffer the May and October heat once more, the skirt also featured a slit that ran all the way up to her waist – and open every time she kicked her leg and walked.

Can you imagine what happened when she did exactly like that? Well, she gave the lensmen a tease of what was under the sheer printed material. But she looked classy while she did it. Not the one to go the conventional way, Kangana Ranaut amped the sheer gown with a s*xy garter belt and looked too hot to handle. Check out a clip of her interacting with the media here:

Styled by celebrity stylist Ami Patel, Kangana opted for an elaborate hairdo, smokey eyes and footwear from Dolce & Gabbana. That attitude, the look and the style – Ms Ranaut has ticked all the right boxes. Check out Kangana Ranaut’s look in detail here:

How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Fishnet Stockings

Since the 19th century, fishnet stockings have been associated with a highly sexualized performance of femininity; they’re an adults-only accessory with roots in our culture’s ideas surrounding the “promiscuous woman.” Over the years, whether worn by a punk, a sex worker, or a member of the BDSM community, fishnets have remained one of the few articles of clothing with a reputation that precedes itself, and the ability to overwhelm an outfit (and potentially the outfit’s wearer). Depending on how you look at it, this can be a good or a bad thing. As someone who considers fishnets a staple of her everyday wardrobe, I’ve found that the accessory’s salacious connotations to be a little bit of both. While I enjoy the brazenness of them, the mere act of wearing means I’m automatically part of the greater conversation about clothes that are “slutty” or “tasteless,” that “ask for it.” Staunchly stuck on the whore side of pop culture’s Madonna-whore obsession, it’s an accessory that is still disproportionately scrutinized thanks to its cabaret and sex work roots. Which begs the question: Why do we still have a problem with a woman dressing“outlandishly”? Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve bought into the pop cultural mythos of the fishnet stocking as a signifier of sexual autonomy, confidence, and independence. As someone who grew up in a conservative environment, the expression of sexuality—let alone via style experimentation—was an impossibility. My parents told me Forever 21 was too “adult of a store,” that the modest things I did choose to wear were still “too loud,” and the trendy items I so badly wanted were “inappropriate.” As I grew up, I began to understand that my parents mostly took this approach because they worried that people wouldn’t take me seriously. Still, though, I have to ask: How exactly does my love of fishnets discredit me? And if I know that it might, why don’t I care? It’s crossed my mind that my continued adherence to this particular item of clothing is symptomatic of something much deeper than “fashion.” As many Instagram meme-makers have teased, maybe my love of the eyebrow-raising accessory is a result of my own lingering insecurities. Or perhaps it’s evidence of my desire to project a level of “adulthood” that I was never really allowed when I was younger. Maybe it’s a mixture of all the above, as well as a true admiration for the no-fucks attitude that women seem to project when they slip a pair of fishnets on for the night. Or maybe I just look really fucking good in them. The jury’s still out on whether my love of fishnets is a symptom of my subconscious desire to toy with the male gaze or overtly subvert it (likely both), but whatever the reason, I’m pretty sure that none of this invalidates my current love of the fishnet, nor is an accurate reflection of my own admitted shortcomings. If anything—perhaps in the spirit of the “fake it till you make it” ethos—fishnets are better viewed as a litmus test of projected confidence, a mere step in the journey to full, unflappable self-assurance. After all, they are one of the few items of clothing that bequeath a level of bolstered bravado upon a wearer—though only if you’re open to the possibility (not to mention the inevitable stares).  Fishnets are strangely self-selective in that way, but I’m a firm believer in the idea that everyone looks amazing with a little skin showing. As women, we have been told to shrink ourselves in the face of scrutiny, to coquettishly adhere to the demands of the male gaze, to internalize the societally mandated shock of being seen as attention-seeking—fishnets, then, provide a rebellious sort of reprieve from all that. They provide a constant reminder of our own autonomy—our ability to boldly choose the way we present ourselves to society-at-large. And hey, if your personal reaffirmation of sartorial independence and sexual agency offends others, then so be it. After all, we should be all working toward the point where one can wear fishnets (or any other sort of suggestive item of clothing) sans broader cultural critique or stigma. So until then, catch me wearing fishnets of all colors of the rainbow and proudly flashing them in your face.Style + Culture, delivered straight to your inbox.
