Are bodystockings useful for keeping warm on cold days, or are they just for fun?

My best friend and I have been discussing/arguing about it…

I say that bodystockings are both sexy and practical. She says they aren’t practical enough to wear under your clothes all day, even if they did keep you warm.

Opinions?
